Tyler Telfair is seeking a creative, ambitious and authoritative sponsorship sales manager, for an elite national conglomerate that is building its Sales and Marketing headquarters in Sarasota Florida. The position will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, and is based out of Sarasota, FL, this person will be responsible for identifying and selling to potential sponsors (client).

The ideal candidate should be passionate about finding creative ways to identify sponsors for a multitude of assets across diverse industries on a regional and national basis(inclusive of a Sports Network), including but not limited to ad space, event signage, integration and digital banners. The ideal candidate will be a self- starter that is truly motivated to earn significant compensation for performance.

Manager / Sales / Sponsorships

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Developing and managing company sponsorship inventory, including tracking/updating all inventory, adding new inventory when applicable and communicating updates to the team weekly/monthly
  • Bring to market asset package, fill potential partner pipeline and manage sales process
  • Assure Company revenue goals are met on a monthly basis
  • Strategically collaborate with sponsors, and internal stakeholders to create fully integrated Company themed marketing programs, keeping partner goals and Company parameters top of mind
  • Participate in integrated meetings to enhance asset ideation and relay information to the team
  • Responsible for management of multiple client relationships, including corporate sponsors, and coordinate with marketing teams
  • Maintain day-to-day relationships between partners, and internal departments
  • Accountability and influence in renewals, upgrades and revenue development
  • Additional responsibilities include selling the entities key initiatives and target community development
  • Responsible for annual incremental dollar growth within sponsorship department by upselling current sponsors on Company controlled assets

Requirements:
  • 1-5+ years working within the sponsorship sales and advertising industry, strong ability to research market conditions, competitors and potential partners.
  • Strong brand marketer with understanding of partner categories, business and the sports/entertainment industry a major plus
  • Excellent communication skills and client service mentality along with strong sales and presentation skills.
  • Capacity for creative and innovative thinking.
  • Leader and SELF-STARTER with the ability to manage time, prioritize work and manage a team of multiple sponsor service staff members.
  • Team player with strong cross-functional skills.
  • Experience working in a extremely fast paced environment.
  • An unrelenting passion and desire to earn significant money(only looking for doers, talkers need not apply)
  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree Preferred
