Position Description

Business Support Manager is responsible for creating Executive level presentations and aggregating metrics for key IT and Business routines. The position will work closely with the CIO and staff to build/transform our comprehensive reporting package. The person needs to possess thought leadership, excellent communication skills and ability to work across IT and Business Teams. Should be familiar with technology/IT terminology and be able to articulate complex technical details and issues in concise, business-focused language, and to assist the various technology teams in providing the appropriate level of detail to fit the audience and communication objectives.

Job Responsibilities

* Work alongside IT Leaders to create C-Level PowerPoint decks and handouts
* Create Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and other PC based tools to drive efficiencies (e.g. financial spreadsheets)
* Extract performance metrics from various systems (with an eye on automation) to feed reporting suite and presentations
* Create governance material including funding request, status reports, release/deployment request ,etc.
* Improve our incident management communication
* Set standards/templates for presentations and reporting and educate the staff (as needed)
* Create process flow charts for IT functions
* Proofread and edit material to ensure quality and accuracy

Qualifications

* Extensive experience creating client-facing and Executive presentation decks
* Expert level skills in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word/Excel
* Creative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas and approaches
* Ability to acquire basic understanding of the IT and Business functions
* Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
* Editing and proofreading skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to meet tight deadlines in a compressed timeline Ability to prioritize and manage timelines that may change frequently
* Works well in both a team environment and independently
