Ally Invest is looking for an experienced enterprise architect to lead an architecture team and assist in driving continuous improvements across our entire technology stack. This team works toward optimizing our distributed collection of services and web applications that work in concert to provide real-time financial solutions. The ideal talent will have experience working directly with business partners as well as software development and QA teams in an agile environment. * Provides leadership support to solution and application architects within Ally Invest to ensure the initiatives are aligned with the overall enterprise architecture. * Facilitates discussions with technical leadership to ensure the architecture of the organization remains aligned with business priorities * Maintains a technology roadmap that helps forecast future state of the technical stack at Ally Invest based on projected growth and the evolution of all applications * Provides recommendations on competitive frameworks and solutions to address application inefficiencies, increase stability, and support scaling efforts * Ensures any new software integrations meet the Invest architectural standards * Maintains open dialogue with other Ally architect groups to ensure all sides have the opportunity to benefit from the research and experiences of the others, including design approaches and software selections * Ensures that any changes or improvements to the integration points between all lines of business are coordinated appropriately to reduce risk * Works toward limiting the need for overlapping technologies * Drives engagement and participation in communities of practice to ensure that valuable input is sourced from all invested parties * Understands business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state), and determine corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes. * Monitors the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements. * Fosters a continuous learning culture by encouraging communication and the sharing of ideas and technical knowledge through mentoring, in-house presentations, case studies, and continuing education opportunities

* Knowledge of common design patterns and pattern-based development * Experience designing microservices architecture and APIs * Certified Enterprise Architect Certification preferred: TOGAF
