The IT Business Operations Analyst will have direct responsibility for managing change and sustain activities for assigned application(s) to ensure adherence to service level requirements. The employee will work with Business Partners, IT Peers and Vendors to identify operational efficiencies and strategic roadmaps in continued refinement of best in class operations. The employee regularly would take part in deep-dive troubleshooting exercises and drive technical post-mortem discussions to identify the root cause of complex issues.
* Partner with Technology & Business teams to develop implementation and operational strategies to support applications maintaining SLA * Consulting/Problem Solving - ability to identify key technical and business problems, develop, and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations. * Production Support, Incident and problem management leadership. Lead high severity incidents to quick technical resolution. * Review and track root cause analysis and preventative action items for high severity and reoccurring issues * Define and document day-to-day support, maintenance, troubleshooting knowledgebase of the applications * Provide leadership in the strategic vision and benefits of applications and seek continuous infrastructure/system/application improvement opportunities in performance and stability. * Troubleshoot security related incidents, lead post incident related activities. * Ability to manage teams working in multiple locations including overseas
* 6+ years of professional experience; 4 year bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or similar fields * Ability to manage complex problems and handle multiple projects/initiatives in parallel * Prior Java/J2EE or architecture background * Knowledge of Unix Operating Systems * Strong technical foundation of Web/App Servers and databases (Weblogic, JBoss, Apache, Oracle database etc.) * Knowledge of Content Delivery Network (e.g. Akamai), Network, Firewall & Load Balancing to troubleshoot security related incidents. * Knowledge of logs analytics and monitoring tools i.e. Splunk, Log Rocket, App Dynamics etc. * Strong understanding of Agile & Waterfall releases methodologies. * Strong understanding on Disaster Recovery procedures * Effective and professional oral and written communication skills * Effective Time Management, People/Relation building skills * Ability to occasionally work off-hours / weekends
