SUMMARY

As ANSYS continues to expand in offices around the world, internal communications is more critical than ever. We''re looking for an energetic internal communications manager who will help drive innovation into this important function and ensure team members across ANSYS are kept informed and excited with our strategy, initiatives and company news. You will creatively conceive and lead communication programs and content strategy across multiple channels: intranet/online, multimedia, video, print, newsletter, conferences, kick-off meetings and thematic events. This individual will work closely with senior executives, HR and corporate communications teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively lead and execute internal communications projects and campaigns that align with, articulate and support the company''s key messages, business priorities and growth initiatives, as well as influence a positive culture and engaged workforce.
Develop messaging for topics including policy, culture, employer value proposition initiatives and other areas of strategic corporate significance as directed by executive leaders.
Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications media, including email, intranet, video, etc.
Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
Create a roadmap and content strategy to unify and standardize internal communications; identify and build the best platforms and channels to share information and develop content strategy for each.
Develop and maintain a communications calendar and establish review processes.
Oversee existing communications channels and develop consensus around future channels based on industry practices and advancements in technology.
Using metrics and reporting to track results, measure effectiveness, and identify needs and opportunities.
Understand employee perceptions and advocate for plans to improve teamwork, collaboration and team spirit; Energize employees to be ANSYS brand advocates.
Determine the most effective strategies and techniques to engage ANSYS employees and obtain team members'' feedback to guide communications decisions.
Develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor''s degree
A minimum of 10 years of experience combined in marketing or communications
Amazing communicator-both written and oral-with a flair for storytelling. Able to simplify messaging and influence teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Must be an effective, confident communicator - willing to speak up in client or internal meetings and hold their own in conversations.
Proven ability to develop and drive innovative internal communications programs and activities to drive employee engagement.
Proven track record of leading complex enterprise-wide and cross-functional communications programs and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Superior project management skills juggling many different initiatives, competing priorities across several teams; ability and agility to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Ability to influence in multiple ways and build credibility quickly with key stakeholders and peers.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
Experience with building and maintaining contact groups/mailing lists.
Some basic HTML and CSS experience required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience working in a technical business setting with engineers or in engineering simulation preferred
Public company experience preferred
B2B software experience a plus
