SUMMARY
The Cloud Product Marketing Manager will support the business development and the growth of the ANSYS Cloud and hybrid cloud products with a strong focus on product marketing. This includes educating our Sales force, developing marketing strategies and programs and then directing them through field marketing teams and ANSYS channel partners as well as supporting partners and sales teams for large deals.

The Cloud product Marketing Manager will also be responsible for developing sales and marketing collateral and training global sales teams to identify and close cloud business opportunities. This person will collaborate with ANSYS sales leaders to identify product training needs and materials. This person will also partner with Cloud providers to promote ANSYS Cloud offering.

The role also includes conducting market research to understand future trends, customer requirements, and competitive technology to develop a clear strategy for future growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the growth of ANSYS Hybrid Cloud products through the effective planning and execution of marketing strategies.
Educate our sales teams to sell ANSYS Cloud offering (sales enablement)
Collaborate with partners, BU marketing leaders, Sales and some executives to develop a successful go-to-market plan (includes press releases, social media planning, case studies, web site, etc..)
Direct field marketing teams to execute tactics associated with the program and manage the marketing budget for the cloud business unit.
Create clear product messaging for end-users, buyers and other personas that are a part of the buying process.
Analyze product line sales performance to replicate successes while also understanding opportunities to adjust marketing program tactics
Develop and manage go-to-market and launch plans for new products
Contribute to strategic product directions through market research and close collaboration with customers and industry analysts.
Train and motivate the sales teams regarding market opportunities and to present the value provided by cloud-based products.
Lead cross-functional teams to successfully complete these functions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor''s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
A minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience with cloud or engineering software applications.
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Critical thinking skills and business acumen
Well versed in modern engineering techniques and processes
Demonstrated ability to work with direct and indirect sales channels
Demonstrated experience with social and other digital marketing tactics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree in Business Administration a plus
Experience in high tech marketing, product management, pre-sales, and/or sales desirable
