Director Reporting & Data Analysis (Fraud, Waste &Abuse)

This position can be filled at any Anthem office location

The DirectorReporting & Data Analysis (Fraud, Waste & Abuse) will reportto the Staff VP Program Integrity/Investigation.

Primary dutiesmay include, but are not limited to:

  • Plans, directs, and controls the resources and effortsof advanced analytics solutions team to accomplish the company objectivesthrough information management and solution strategy.

  • Obtains resources (people, funding, material, support)to support business unit information needs and strategic initiatives.

  • Provides leadership in motivating subordinates toaccomplish advanced analytics goals and objectives.

  • Develops a strong team through training and effectiveorganizational development practices.

  • Reports program status and progress to business unitsenior management.

  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of output anddeliverables for assigned functional areas. Implements the policies,practices, and procedures of the company and business units supported.

  • Has fiscal responsibility for area budgets.

  • Establishes relationships with business, IT and datascience partners both internal and external.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluatesperformance of direct reports.

  • Oversees entire reporting/analysis/consulting unit orall aspects of a centralized function.

  • Participates with other executives to establishstrategic plans and objectives.

  • Makes final decisions for IM function at the businessunit level and ensures operations' effective achievement of objectives.

  • Coordinates project management across department &divisional line.

  • Ability to communicate with customers about technicalissues in non-technical terms.

  • Understands the business processes that the systemsupports.

  • RequiresBachelor's degree and 10+ years experience leading project teams, or anycombination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalentbackground.

  • Knowledgeof IM technologies, organizational structure, and customer information needs.

  • Knowledgeof Fraud, Waste and Abuse advanced analytics and business acumen required.

  • Priorleadership or management experience required.

  • Strongand Effective communication skills, including facilitation, consultation,negotiation and persuasion required.
