Collectively, these efforts comprise the company's Community Strategy and are governed by the Community Oversight Committee.This position is responsible for building long term and effective relationships in support of the company's Community Strategy in a defined region/territory. The incumbent will identify and engage with a variety of sourcing entities spanning the public and private sector, and include nonprofit and for profit organizations. The person will work to achieve the goals set forth in the Community Commitment Plan by developing and deepening relationships and partnerships with critical influencers within these organizations that help the bank and impacted lines of business achieve goals for targeted production and investment.The Community Accountability role will work with the CRA Department, LOB Leaders, Community Market Presidents and other internal influencers and make recommendations for partnerships and support of organizations and initiatives that drive targeted production and outreach opportunities that support the Community Strategy across our assessment areas. The person will also represent the bank through participation, attendance and engagement in conferences, local boards/councils, and other economic development opportunities as they arise. This person will serve as an expert for our managers and staff around the bank's community engagement efforts.The Community Accountability Officer will work with the Community Accountability Director and line of business heads to support execution on community commitment plans and strategies. This could include input on negotiations with community activities, development and response to community group requests, working with line management to ensure products, policies, procedures and controls are in place to capture all of the banks efforts to meet its regulatory and community commitment plan objectives, working with the CA Director to track and report market level progress, and managing successful implementation of projects and initiatives that help achieve results including lending, investment, donations and volunteer engagement.This position requires a credit check per 12 CFR Chapter X, Part 1026, Truth in Lending, Regulation Z.Compliance StatementAs a valued colleague of Associated Bank you play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience during every interaction.
