Job SummaryThis position provides Environmental Health and Safety, Security, and Sustainability (EHS3) support. Responsible for insuring compliance with EHS3 related regulatory agency requirements which may include, but is not limited to OSHA, EPA, and DHS. Prepares Avantor locations for emergencies, works to reduce the occurrence of safety, health, medical, environmental, and regulatory issues, and ensures the completion of EHS3 training as needed.

Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
Depending on site responsibility, may require travel approximately 30-40% of the time.
Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.
A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.
Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
