Catalysts Division, Regional Talent Solutions Partner, North America(1902367) Iselin, NJ

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to be responsible for the implementation of talent solutions within Catalysts (CC). As a member of the CC HR team, you will ensure that the talent strategies ( Performance management, Talent Reviews, Enterprise wide Initiatives, Leadership Development, New Leader Assimilations, Leadership Pipeline Development and D&I initiatives) developed by the CC Global Head of Talent Management and programs developed by the global COEs are delivered in an impactful, consistent and meaningful way throughout the division (globally). By partnering with the COEs and the HR and talent teams in other regions, you will be expected to provide insight into the impact of the programs among the stakeholders, the collective understanding of the purpose and simplicity of objectives and finally the sustainability of the talent programs within organization.

To achieve these goals, you will be responsible for the talent portfolios for CC. You will also be responsible for the facilitation of the talent reviews and performance calibration sessions and guidance of conversations to align performance initiatives and development to talent actions to help support business results. In addition, you will be responsible to ensure the unique organization needs are meet within the various regional processes.

You will use your skills and education to:

  • Work independently to complete project objectives and tasks, and also collaborate as necessary across the organization with expert resources within a CoE and potentially external consultants.

  • Identify ways to enhance the stakeholders knowledge, skillset, and process awareness to make sure the expected benefits are achieved and sustained after the core talent programs are completed.This may include methodologies to measure the impacts, benefits and opportunity areas for the project after execution.

  • Continually identify opportunities to enhance the talent solutions portfolio to ensure it remains relevant and aligned with the needs of our stakeholders.This will require working collaboratively with team members and colleagues across the HR function (e.g., COEs, regional HR partners)

Detailed responsibilities by Talent Process:

For each solution, the team member is responsible for (not exhaustive):

  • Owning delivery, cascade or facilitation from alignment and preparation to execution

  • Measuring effectiveness of the application and solution sustainability

  • Ensuring transparency of information for continuous improvement within the HR Community

  • Following the guidance of the CC Global Head of Talent Management and regional COEs to deliver process harmonization

  • Looking for process simplification and enhancements to improve the leader and/or employee experience

  • Making the connection and articulating to managers the business case of any given solution

  • Assisting in the development of leader capabilities to engage in the talent discussions and development plans

Talent Solutions (Processes and Initiatives) that will be led by this role include:

Performance Management

Coordinate and manage the performance management process, ensuring clear communication to the organization, compliance, consistency and objectivity. Provides leadership to ensure performance review evaluations are administered fairly and effectively.

  • Analysis & Alignment with senior leaders

  • Scheduling calibration sessions

  • Facilitating calibration sessions

  • Feedback loop to respective SHRBA and/or business leader

  • Post-season action review including trend analysis and continuous improvement measures

Employee Development - Talent Review

Coordinate and integrate the Talent Management process to include detailed analysis of potential talent gaps and development of career plans.

  • Analysis & Alignment with senior leader

  • Scheduling talent review sessions

  • Facilitating talent review sessions

  • Feedback loop to respective SHRBA and/or business leader

  • Succession PlanningLeadership Pipeline Development

  • Leadership Pipeline Development

  • Post-season action review including trend analysis and continuous improvement measures

Onboarding of employees and leaders

New Leader Assimilations

Support for Talent Events and other on demand activities in CC and region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR related field.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, guidelines, policies and practices.

  • Must be highly organized and data driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong computer skills focused on: word, excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Visier, Success Factors, SharePoint, etc.

  • Project management experience/multi-project balancing experience

  • Facilitation and Training expertise

  • Influencing and negotiation skills including strategic prioritization among key stakeholders

  • Managerial courage, Learning Agility, flexibility

  • Drive the key themes related to the talent strategy initiatives each year.

  • Possess a strong sense of urgency.Will be responsible for CCs talent strategy from inception to delivery.

  • Possess a strong ability to influence without authority among the key stakeholders.Must be able to identify success and opportunity areas within the BU related to annual talent strategy.

  • Must be able to identify success and opportunity areas within the BU related to annual talent strategy.

  • Will be comfortable with ambiguity and white space associated with HR COE foundational programs, BU specific regional and global initiatives and HR talent programs.
