You will work directly with the Baxter Foundation/Global Community Relations team to broaden awareness of our commitment to our global communities, enhance our reputation and brand, and drive employee engagement.
You will also provide ongoing management and support of employee engagement/volunteerism, corporate product donations, corporate responsibility reporting, philanthropic grantmaking and partner program administration.
This includes, but is not limited to, the effective stewardship of financial resources and ensuring maintenance of record systems, and due diligence and compliance review for grantmaking and product donations programs.
Reports to Director, Global Community Relations/Executive Director of the Baxter International Foundation.

Critical Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of an integrated philanthropic and community relations strategy.
Advance enterprise-wide employee engagement and volunteerism strategy, as well as administration of the Employee Disaster Relief fund, Dollars-for-Doers, matching gifts and scholarship programs.
Actively interact and coordinate with internal cross-functional subject matter experts to capture enterprise-wide impacts to support the annual production of the Corporate Responsibility report and help lead survey, rating and ranking submissions.
Evaluate grant/community requests and audit the effectiveness of existing programs while ensuring grantmaking compliance in our systems, and policies and procedures.
Manage the companys product donations program, ensuring compliance with WHO standards.
Help create links and relationships with community constituents and grant partners so the highest degree of program impact can be achieved through the most effective use of resources.
Regularly track relevant trends, issues and best practices in corporate responsibility and philanthropic giving to continually enhance program strategies and impact.



Direct experience/results in a) employee engagement programs (including work place giving and community employee volunteer programs), b) proposal evaluation/review skills and c) working knowledge of generally accepted grant-making policies and regulations.
Outstanding written/verbal communications skills, interpersonal, event management and presentation skills.
Demonstrated utilization of digital/social media tools and platforms.
Demonstrated track record of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, effectively managing multiple programs and projects simultaneously while still paying close attention to detail and deadlines.
Highly organized, strategic thinker, analytical, proactive team player with a high degree of initiative that can execute independently, set and meet deadlines and targets.
Highly-proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Cybergrants or similar grantmaking platform a plus.
Familiarity with grant and budget management, including ability to read financial statements, develop budgets and review audited financial reports a plus.

Education/Years of Experience

6-10 years of combined corporate responsibility, grant management, employee relations experience (healthcare experience preferred/not required).
International experience a plus.
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree a plus.
Corporate Social Responsibility certification a plus.
