**Part Time Field Merchandiser** + **Location:** Carter's | OshKosh B'goshHarrisburg (Harrisburg , PA)Harrisburg, PA + **Job Posted:** 07/10/2019 + **Start Date:** 07/10/2019 **POSITION PURPOSE** The Field Merchandiser, in partnership with the Retail Marketing Manager, represents Carter's in wholesale locations, and maximizes sales by ensuring neat, clean, and organized stores. Responsibilities of the role include merchandising and replenishing product, building strong relationships with store management teams, and protecting Company assets through exceptional customer service. The Field Merchandiser consistently abides by Our Values: Act with Integrity, Exceed Expectations, Succeed Together, Inspire Innovation, and Invest in People. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MOST IMPORTANT TO GET THE JOB DONE)** **70%: Field Merchandising and Fixture Management** + Completes merchandise floor sets according to visual standards and directives + Secures and maintains designated fixtures and floor space in a timely manner + Maintains solid product knowledge and merchandise presentation + Maintains the Company standard of a neat, clean, and organized store **15% Building Relationships** + Builds strong and collaborative partnerships with store management + Communicates professionally and effectively in all interactions with manager, wholesale management teams, sales associates, customers, business partners, and vendors + Receives constructive feedback with positive intent and makes efforts to take appropriate action on such feedback + Adheres to all company policies and safety procedures as directed by the Company **15% Business Management** + Uploads store reports from each visit including support photos + Accurately records time worked and submits monthly expense reports + Completes other duties as assigned **SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE - ANY DUTIES NOT CONSIDERED ESSENTIAL)** + Participates in special projects (e.g. shop installs, store audits, pilot programs) as assigned + Participates in team training opportunities as needed + Supports in-store special events (e.g. corporate tours, floor moves) when applicable **KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR JOB PERFORMANCE)** + Computer skills: experience with Microsoft Office, iPad, and online reporting + Strong interpersonal skills, well organized, self-motivated + Ability to work independently + Ability to use hand held mobile device for reporting and digital photos **PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS** + 1 to 2 years retail experience in merchandising, stock flow or customer service required + Specialized training in apparel, visual display, or retail sales **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** + Ability to lift and move 30 pounds on a regular basis + Ability to stand for long periods of time; climb up and down a ladder + Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling + Must have access to reliable transportation + Ability to travel to multiple locations within a 60 mile radius via own transportation NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
