Job Profile SummaryCAI is seeking a Project Manager for the migration of business and infrastructure applications. This is a 6 month position with the likelihood of extensions-- given the amount of work that needs to get done and the projected projects in the future. This candidate will lead the planning and implementation for the migration of the Bank's applications to a new data center, accomplish High Availability architecture for critical applications, OS and DB upgrade project for various business applications, work closely in coordination with IT Team organized with a Plan, Build, and Operate (Run) structure. The position is in Midtown, NYC. The industry is Banking.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of the migration including external vendor integration points & communication connectionsResponsible for managing project, and ensuring that project is delivered on time, within budget and to the expectations of project sponsors and stakeholdersThe creation and timely maintenance of detailed project schedule including tasks, resources and percentage completionUtilize rigorous scope change control process to ensure on-time and on-budget project deliveryPrepare presentations and conduct meetings for Steering Committee, and manage weekly team meetings providing updates and status reports as requestedCoordinate with executive sponsors and business stakeholders responsible for the project and Information Technology to facilitate deliveryPrepare all project documentation including project charter & scope, progress reports, project budget, change control documentation, and other documents to comply with the Bank's System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Identify project risks and maintain risk log throughout projectCreate a working environment that allows project team to work to the best of their abilitiesRegularly review and analyze the project scopeManage and coordinate participation of third party vendors within scope of the projectDay-to-day responsibilities for controlling and managing the projectQualificationsSkills:Data Center-minded professional with knowledge of project management 'best practices'Basic knowledge of networking, server configurations and application architecture requiredAbility to promote culture of teamwork, collaboration and successOutstanding organizational and leadership skills, coupled with an ability to understand the wider pictureGood facilitation and analytical skillsStrong Project planning skillsStrong drive and resilienceAbility to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlinesWillingness to take project ownership and accountabilityAble to use Microsoft Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programsFamiliar with Agile and have prior Scrum Master experienceJira preferredServiceNow Change Management, PPM module experience preferredExperience/Education RequiredBS/BA degree is requiredPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitorIf you are interested in this position, please apply using the \"Apply \" option.
