Trim Sales Manager Reports To: Vice President of SalesFLSA Status: ExemptPrepared By: Director of Human Resources The Trim Sales professional meets sales and/or profitability objectives. Product rotation by date is critical in a perishable trim sales environment. Sales professionals identify marketplace opportunities, prospects, engage new clients, develop proposals, and manage the contract process. Responsibilities:Achieve tight deadlines meet quarterly and annual sales quotas.Prospecting and developing new client relationships within a defined geography or market.Consulting with clients on needs and business objectives.Developing innovative proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations.Making actionable and insightful recommendations for products or services.Resolving sales or delivery issues.Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.Expedites the resolution of customers complaints.Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management and accounting. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong listening, presentation and business networking skills.Attention to detail.Strong influencing skills, superior business acumen and negotiation skills.Extensive beef industry knowledge and cuts.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.Critical thinking, problem solving, planning and organizational skills.Must be able to communicate effectively in a diverse workforce and upper management. Qualification: 2 or more year s protein sales.Reasonable experience with Microsoft Office applications ( word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, etc.) Education:Bachelors or advanced degree in business, Agriculture, or the sciences preferred but not required. Physical Demands:Ability to sit for long periods of time.
