JOB REQUIREMENTS The Medical Information Manager is responsible for leading the medical information activities and deliverables to meet the needs of external customers and internal business partners for assigned products. He/she collaborates cross-functionally to deliver on the Medical Affairs objectives. This includes but is not limited to: -Lead the development, communication, maintenance and reporting of medical information resources for assigned products to meet the needs of external customers and internal business partners. -Serve as medical and therapeutic area expert for assigned products; Present product and disease state training for Medical Affairs colleagues and cross-functionally -Research and conduct detailed analyses of scientific literature to communicate relevant scientific information and competitive issues within the department and cross-functionally -Develop strategic medical plans for assigned products in collaboration with Medical Director and other Medical Affairs colleagues -Serve as project lead to develop and update medical information launch plans, standard medical responses, Q & A documents, AMCP dossiers, and other materials for assigned products. Monitor, analyze and communicate scientific literature. Create reports to communicate relevant information to colleagues and internal business partners. formulary dossiers for assigned products -Ensure medical accuracy of advertising, promotional and medical materials and serve as medical lead for designated materials on Copy Review Committee and Product Medical Review Committee. -Partner with Medical Director to analyze, develop and implement compendia strategies for assigned products -Partner with Medical Affairs colleagues to assist with Advisory Boards and other medical affairs activities - Partner with Sales Training to develop and update sales training programs, provide input into training curriculum and utilize clinical expertise to present product and disease state information to sales force. -Provide Medical Information booth support at designated congresses -Serve as primary scientific contact for healthcare professionals, consumer and field staff who contact Eisai for medical information regarding Eisai’s products and services. Utilize scientific expertise to clearly communicate complex data to internal business partners and external customers. Job Requirements: • Doctorate level degree required (PharmD (preferred), Ed.D, M.D. or Ph.D.) • Advanced knowledge of US regulatory standards related to pharmaceutical manufacturers’ communications and dissemination of medical information • Excellent verbal and written skills, with experience in medical writing • Superior literature database search skills and presentation skills • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry-based medical information or related discipline • Knowledge of international guidelines for dissemination of medical information, international labeling conventions, global marketing of products preferred • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and customer management software Here at Eisai, we are rewarded with highly competitive salaries, incentive awards, a comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Prescription and Vision Plans) 401k, Flexible Spending Accounts, Life and Disability Insurance, and other great programs.
