Responsibilities:HR Business Partner employee relations, point of contact on day to day issues, compensation benefits, performance management, legal,Provide Human Resources expertise to support the achievement of site and business goals, and champion organizational change.Identify, create and foster opportunities to create a positive, dynamic culture where employees have an opportunity to contribute and grow professionally.HR Lead for planning, consolidation and integration efforts for new manufacturing facilityPartner with client group on local and facility initiatives including culture, communication and continuous improvementAdvise both local management and employees in HR related matters to ensure compliance with company policy and applicable federal, state and local laws and regulationsManage recruiting process for internal and external needs meeting quality and timeliness goalsActively manage department and resources as needed including goals, strategic initiatives and make necessary resource and planning decisionsMaintain current proficiency in various HR related skills and matters including compensation, benefits, employee relations trends and practices, legal requirements and regulations, and other knowledge necessary to support effective employee relationsCollaborate with HR team across Cook Compression and Dover CorporationVarious Integration HR Projects including Policy Development and Administration, Compensation Review and AnalysisMonitors key performance indicators, such as headcount, overtime, turnover, absenteeism, and other HR KPI s as required.Directly or indirectly through HR Representative, performs benefits administration as directed by the Benefits HR Director, including communicating benefits information to employeesSupports Local, Region and Corporate HR policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the team and client groupSkills:Strong interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to identify problems and suggest effective resolution approachesDemonstrated discretion, confidentiality and integrityDemonstrated ability to be self -managed, efficient, and organized; flexible and ability to adaptExcellent listening skills and commitment to communicate clearly, completely, and in a timely mannerAbility to work independently as well as a contributing team memberDemonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide range of individualsExceptional skills in partnering with clients and staff in developing and maintaining relationshipsAbility to organize time effectively, determine priorities, and move work forwardProficiency in use of MS Excel , Word, PowerPoint and other software tools to facilitate HR services deliveryKnowledge of federal, state and local labor and employment laws and regulations (i. e. NLRB, FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ADA)Education and Experience:Minimum bachelor s degree in related field preferred (Human Resources, Business Administration)Minimum five years HR work experience with emphasis in generalist responsibilities preferably in a manufacturing environmentPHR/SPHR certification strongly preferredKnowledge of federal, state and local labor and employment laws and regulations (i. e.
