The Product Development department is responsible for designing and implementing new products and enhancing existing ones at FactSet. Within Product Development, the Content Integration group adds to and enhances data content on FactSet's product suite, an important piece of FactSet's business model. The Content Integration group works closely with the database engineers, application developers, salespeople, consultants, and the knowledge management, marketing, and training groups to ensure that the database meets client's requirements.
The Content Analyst position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with financial data, is technically inclined and has the ability to interface with other teams.
Responsibilities: Specifically the Content Analyst takes raw data information and turns it into intelligence for the client.
Assists engineers in the development of Terms & Conditions, Ratings, Transactions, Prices, and Analytics databases under guidance from their manager
Interacts with the data provider
Assists Application Development Group with FI databases to aid building client facing applications and reportsAssists QA group in the development and support of daily data integrity checks
Assists ECS development team to integrate product suites for FactSet's Fixed Income Analytics
Assists our Consulting group with technical questions regarding the database, formulas, or the related application
Assists our Corporate Communications groups with documentation, news releases, and Broadcast announcements
+Works with our Training group to develop internal and external training materials
Required Skills:
If coming from consulting, at least 24 months of assigned client responsibilities
University degree
Strong analytical, problem solving skills
Ability to work independently
Attention to detail
Interest in learning new technologies
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Interest in Finance
Quick learner; ability to apply skills and past experiences in new situations
Highly Desired:
Knowledge of Fixed Income
Knowledge of Corporate Activism/Governance, IPO, Private Investment in Public Equity
