Director, Risk and Advisory Professional Services, FactSet Research Systems, Inc., New York, NY: Work as Director, Risk and Advisory Professional Services in the Analytics & Trading department, Risk and Quantitative Analytics Business Line. Duties will include the following: Gather all PS projects and requirements, synchronization, resources planning and alignment within the Business Line. Support the FDS PS function in preparing project plans based on standard practices. Prepare BL plans, manage, monitor, review, approve, and support execution of Risk & Advisory PS professional services, pre- and post-sales support and integrations in cases where domain-specific PS-type activities are essential. Partner with Strategy and PD on supporting Clients' PS projects' scope definition, key milestones and SOW preparation and the distribution of the functionalities and corresponding tasks between PS and General Product Roadmap respectively. Work with FDS PS on SOW general structure, definitions and clauses. Support all stages of Client communication related to PS and customization projects, where the Strategy takes Lead (Initiation and Acceptance); lead all other stages (directly or via associate directors). Manage client expectations with regards to PS deliverable and ensures no SOW scope-creep. Request PD, SE and Quant resources for PS tasks execution via PD. Ensure timely delivery of the PS functions, monitor and work-out corrective actions and escalate. Partner with FDS PS, Sales, Strategy, Marketing and our client base to ensure fluid communication of dates, commitments and developments. Guide clients into Product-based solutions where possible utilizing awareness of the Products, Strategy, and domain knowledge. Oversee existing clients' retention plans as it relates to services provided and works jointly FactSet account managers on supporting pricing and contract business terms related topics, including: oversee client professional services related to implementation and integrations and approves implementation plans; lead professional services efforts on gaining new clients; request and optimally use support and services from the rest of the Business Line; and provide input for PD and Research topics based on clients and market requirements and coordinate time-lines with the rest of the functions so that to accomplish ASV goals. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or higher, or foreign equivalent in International Economic Relations, Economics, Finance or related field and 7 years of analytics experience in a client facing role working with the following technologies: Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Microsoft Project); automation tools (Visual Basic for applications (VBA), VBA excel, VBA access); database management (Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft access); project management tools (Microsoft Project); and relevant financial system software, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet workstation, Morningstar APIs/Morningstar Direct, Cognity software or JIRA/Confluence. Must be a CFA charter holder or FRM charter holder. Must have working knowledge of a wide variety of financial instruments including standard stock and Bond as well as complex derivative products such as Options, Futures, IR Swaps, Structured Products, Fixed Income instruments. Must be able to exhibit strong understanding of the area of risk management, factor-based investing, portfolio construction and optimization and understanding of basic concepts of financial mathematics and statistics. Must have a solid understanding of software development principles, including experience with the SDLC, code repositories, software systems and continuous deployment systems. Must have proven project management/organizational skills including ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and manage implementation scope.
