FactSet is seeking a Global Director of Implementation and Client Support for its OMS product. The location for this role is either London or New York. . The successful individual will have two primary responsibilities - implementation and client support. The individual will be responsible for implementations of Factset OMSs globally and will oversee our global global OMS specialists. This individual will also be responsible for client support and will oversee our client support teams in London and Manila. The successful individual will need to participate in the Pre-Sales process providing input on implementation related matters as well as being commercially aware of the cost of implementation relative to the revenue received in return..This role requires an individual who can build and mentor a global team, creating a framework for continuous learning and development while maintaining a critical focus on the delivery of in-flight and scheduled OMS implementations.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Own all aspects of software Implementation and Production support
Oversee all implementations and Product Client Relationships
Monitor and report on the health of each client
Prioritize client requirements
Ensure direct reports are developing in line with personal and business objectives
Track resource utilization based on sales pipeline and in-flight projects on a rolling 12 month basis
Identify and clearly state resource needs to prevent/address any bottlenecks encountered in resolving issues
Optimize the Cost Structure and output of the Implementation and Support teams
Identify a list of manual implementation tasks that can be automated and work with Product / Engineering to get them automated
Implement and communicate model to forecast implementation capacity vs. demand
Support the OMS Specialty Sales teams globally, providing expertise and input on all aspects of the client workflows
Support the Product, Strategy and Engineering teams by providing feedback from implementation and production clients
Show strong ability to gather market intelligence by meeting with clients and sales force throughout the post implementation cycle
Communicate well with Strategy and Engineering counterparts and where appropriate provide guidance on the priority of client defects and enhancements
Lead the design of the business processes and technology tools used within the team to streamline project and client reporting activity
Lead the Factset's SOC2 audit requirements
Travel to see the teams and clients globally
OMS subject matter expertise (Cymba ,Charles River, EZE, Bloomberg EMS, etc.)
Proven experience as a successful leader having operated as a Manager of Managers
Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at a Senior Level (C-Suite and Executives as well as Portfolio Managers and Traders)
Ability to manage complex and sensitive relationships dealing with conflicting resource constraints and priorities
Ability to build effective relationships across the Factset organization and within client organizations
Experience developing and implementing business and project reporting processes using Factset or external tools
Experience operating independently, setting appropriate goals on his/her own and achieve them with minimal direction
