Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, we are seeking a Global HR Business Partner (HRBP) who will sit in our Norwalk and/or New York office and who will provide HR business partner support to our Corporate Services teams including Finance, Legal and Human Resources. The Human Resources Business Partner identifies and executes HR initiatives that drive the organization's culture, operational and growth goals. This highly visible role will collaborate closely with our C-level as well as coordinate with peers on the HR Leadership Team. This partner will communicate, champion and execute HR initiatives that drive the organization's culture, operational and growth goals.
What you'll do:
Drives strategy for talent management with a focus to include, but not limited to; workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, on-boarding, succession planning, critical skills gap analysis, compensation, training and performance support
Collaborate with the business, HR Centers of Excellence and Regional teams to deliver talent programs that improve work life at FactSet, increase performance, reduce attrition and ultimately realize strategic goals
Work closely with the leadership team, both within the business and within the greater HR organization, to drive effective change and develop a client centric, engaged workforce
Diagnose individual, team, and organizational issues that are negatively impacting culture and performance and recommend and facilitate delivery of the appropriate intervention (i.e. group facilitation, flexible work and staffing recommendations, mentoring, team building, organization re-structure and re-design) to increase performance
Ensure we have specific action plans for diversity and measurement around the benefits and goals.
Serve as an approachable, highly trusted coach and adviser to management on all talent related topics and are highly visible with the team - be the go to person on all things related to the workforce.
Drive the talent agenda in terms of compensation planning, hiring, time away, shifts, employee motivation, communication, administration, and training
Desired Skills & Experience:
10+ years progressive HR experience or equivalent relevant business experience
Solid experience working strategically as a business partner
Ability to effectively work with diverse cultures in a global team; demonstrating inclusion of a wide range of norms and styles;
Ability to successfully partner with senior executives, managing high expectations via influence and persuasion
Demonstrated ability to assess change management needs and support the design of change management plans that support organizational change
Experience with compensation and incentives related to a client-facing organization (sales, services, corporate support, etc.).
Strong communication and facilitation skills; ability to collaborate to achieve results in matrix environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and a flexible approach;
Well organized, thorough and detailed, with a creative approach to problem solving;
Bachelor's degree required
