The Database Infrastructure and Services team are seeking an experienced Database Architect for a pivotal role in our digital transformation journey. Partnering with senior leaders throughout the organisation, you will design and build a new data lake, to leverage and combine FactSet's vast data assets in new and transformative ways.
The successful applicant will have proven success with architecting massive data projects across a diverse technology portfolio. They will possess expert knowledge of multiple SQL and NoSQL database technologies and deep experience of using them across diverse problem areas. They will be equally comfortable in high-level business discussions as well as debating low-level technical details.
5+ years experience building data lakes and data warehouses.
8+ years experience architecting large-scale data projects.
Experience of multiple technologies, including Apache Spark, SQL and NoSQL databases.
Extensive experience of partnering with senior leaders and technologist to ensure project success and influencing senior leaders.
World-class data design and architecture skills.
Excellent communication skills
Self-disciplined and highly motivated
