Content and Strategic Partnerships is responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing relationships with global market data vendor partners. The department manages FactSet's data budget and is responsible for data vendor relationships, contracts, and all related contractual obligations. The group implements automated systems and processes to track and monitor all points of contact with data vendors to ensure compliance. It also coordinates with all internal business units to gather requirements and interfaces with the vendors based on those pre-determined needs.
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic candidate to oversee vendor relationships with Stock Exchanges and the end-to-end administration associated with them. He/she will work with internal stakeholders and other members of Content and Strategic Partnerships to secure data licensing rights as needed. This role will take ownership of existing workflows and processes related to ongoing support of our contractual obligations and exchange administration. Working closely with Product Development, Legal, Finance, and Enterprise Solutions team members, the successful candidate will manage complex projects that span systems and departments to drive greater efficiency and improved internal and external communications.
Manage all aspects of vendor relationships for stock exchanges on a global level
Responsible for the prioritization of new content acquisition in partnership with internal stakeholders
Implement new processes to streamline workflows for day-to-day management of contractual obligations
Ensure business processes are consistent with audit policies
Ensure compliance for exchange reporting
Collaborate with relevant business units and the FP&A team on Real-Time Exchange strategy
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree
7+ Years industry experience in global financial markets, market data distribution rules, and exchange reporting
7+ Years industry experience in business analysis and improving processes
7+ Years industry experience with market data license agreements or related contractual negotiations
Experience with Workday is a plus
Must be a self-starter and take initiative
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to organize, prioritize and handle high volume of tasks
Strong computer skills including Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication skills and the ability to correspond with a diverse group of stakeholders, both internal business partners and well as external vendor partners including technical and non-technical
Ability to complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plan
