GeneralSummary .

Responsible forperforming tasks involved in providing support to business critical productionenvironments utilizing best of breed Warehouse Management Systems along withinterface systems exchanging high volume transactions between internal andexternal applications.

This position will beresponsible for ..

  • Participate inall phases of production support of applications and components inmulti-technology, business-critical systems.

  • Gatherrequirements and design the most accurate and efficient solution possible.

  • Must be able todisplay ability to logically work through problems to create solutions sobusiness operations contractual service level agreements are maintained.

  • Analyzing andreengineering repetitive failed processes to drive out risk.

  • Work closely withdevelopment team to ensure that all have an accurate understanding of thesolution to limit rework to the minimum.

  • Maintainunderstanding of interface specifications and configuration options.

  • Documentrequirements and solutions according to the business SDLC process.

  • Work withImplementation and program management teams to transition new customer anddevelopment projects into normal day to day activities.

  • Establish andmaintain strong working relationships with co-workers, the business community,external customers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

  • Stay up-to-dateon current and future warehouse execution technologies, capabilities andtrends.

  • Follow changecontrol methodology in day-to-day activities.

  • Work toestablish, maintain, and update strategy (methodology, processes, standards,tools, services) used in implementing supply chain systems.

  • Ability to workwell in distributed teams with effective communication skills to ensure theirtasks and ideas are effectively understood. This includes but is not limited toproactively providing status updates, identifying areas and opportunities forimprovement, and escalation of problems and issues to managers.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor degreein Computer Science, Business, or Engineering preferred, and 6-8 years ofprogressively responsible business experience implementing or supporting large,complex, business critical systems preferred.

  • In lieu ofdegree, high school diploma or GED and at least 10 years of related experience.

  • Manhattan ScaleWarehouse Management System is a must.

  • Supply chainwarehouse execution systems with high volume transaction interfaces a must.

  • Strong businessknowledge and understanding in at least one of the following areas\: WarehouseManagement, Labor Management, Transportation Management.

  • GoodCommunication Skills with high degree of verbal and written proficiency bothtechnical and operational.

  • Knowledge ofenterprise hardware platforms such as UNIX and/or Linux servers and Oraclerelational databases is a plus.

  • Outgoing, actionoriented self-starter who enjoys a fast paced dynamic environments.

  • Strongproficiency in Oracle SQL for application development a must.

  • Knowledge of UNIXa strong plus.

  • Customer servicedriven.

  • Strong teamplayer.
