Integrated Banking Services (IBS) is a hosted core processing system easily scalable to meet the needs of banks from $500M to $50B in assets. IBS is processed in a 'service bureau' environment using one version of the source code for all financial institutions. It is a highly integrated system using a comprehensive set of bank processing parameters to define products and attributes.

The core processing systems include the Deposit Suite, the Lending Suite and Customer Management (CIS). The Deposit suite includes components for processing Deposit Retirement Accounts, Sweep Processing, Deposit Escrow Sub Accounting, and Exception Processing. The Lending Suite includes components for Collateral Management, Collections, Tickler, and Notepad. Customer Management (also known as the Customer Information System or CIS) manages customer relationships, account relationships, demographics, and user defined remarks.

What you will be doing

Delivers and provides a broad spectrum of consulting services focusing on Finance, Accounting, General Ledger and Profitability. Services range from assessment and optimization offerings to strategic advisory services within the financial services industry. The candidate will leverage industry knowledge, technology, process, and financial services best practices to deliver results for clients with the goal of improving efficiency and profitability. Expertise in the multiple areas: technology optimization, financial service channel optimization, business productivity improvement, data analytics, business intelligence, technology integration, or strategic planning is required. Understanding the industry, associated business challenges and opportunities within financial accounting is critical.

  • Maintains current knowledge of industry issues and opportunities in the finance, accounting, general ledger and profitability areas.
  • Maintains current knowledge of best practices in finance, accounting, general ledger and profitability areas.
  • Delivers outstanding quality work, leading to client references and case studies.
  • Sells value of offerings and identifies areas of opportunity for FIS services in client institutions.
  • Provides sales support, identifies and qualifies opportunities and defines and presents solutions.
  • Evaluates situations, identifies challenges and opportunities for improvement and creates practical solutions.
  • Builds and maintains credibility with clients and peers as domain expert for specific areas of expertise.
  • Works effectively in a team environment.
  • Works at client site for most assignments.
  • Defines and conducts research and analysis to identify industry trends and strategies.
  • What you bring:

  • 10 years experience in financial services or financial services consulting
  • Expertise in the Finance and Accounting and its application within financial institutions.
  • Possesses working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial Accounting or General Ledger best practices.
  • Ability to travel 66% of the time
  • Added bonus if you have:

  • Utilization of FIS IBS Relationship Profitability (RLP) or other profitability solutions a plus.
  • Utilization of Business Intelligence (BIC) for financial reporting a plus.
