Identity and Access Management is a function within the Tech Ops group that globally supports directories, accounts, access, passwords and sign-on functions. It provides a secure foundation, with standard process and tools to ensure access to GSK information and systems is protected.

The primary purpose of this role is ensuring that GSK effectively and securely manages Active Directory.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Manage the development and performance of team members
  • Work with Sr Directory Services Manager to maintain the roadmap for the service
  • Create and maintain both informal and formal documentation for the service
  • Monitor the teams incident queue to ensure tickets are maintained within SLA
  • Mediate technical discussions within the team and make decisions based on the teams input
  • Respond to service feedback from end users and other service teams
  • Track and manage teams workload and priorities according to business demand
  • Work with team members to organize response to critical incidents
  • Maintain the services components within the asset database
  • Review change control records for quality before approval
  • Produce monthly service metrics

    Basic Qualifications:

    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and related infrastructure
  • Experience managing people or a technical service, or as a team leader
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Post Graduate Degree
  • Experience supporting Active Directory in a large enterprise environment
