  • To execute activities related to North American Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs. This involves supporting the business objectives and providing customer satisfaction through proper communication of Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) and Regulatory Affairs information involving the safe use of Industrial and Consumer products.
  • To ensure that our customers and employees are fully informed about the health and safety characteristics of our products and raw materials and that all products marketed by Henkel Adhesives North America are in compliance with all applicable regulations (Federal, Provincial, State, and Local).
  • Prepare and provide, in a timely manner, product Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and label warning statements in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Assist manufacturing and distribution facilities with their employee hazard communications responsibilities by providing accessible, updated Henkel generated SDSs for all intermediates and products.
  • Assure that Manufacturing, Product Development (PD), Advanced Research (AR), and Marketing are properly informed of specific regulatory issues - existing and impending which could impact the use of our intermediates and products.
  • Provide timely assessments of experimental materials in order to assure that health & safety considerations are fully understood relative to business impact and customer satisfaction.
  • Qualifications

    Who we are looking for:

  • B.S. in Occupational, Environmental Health, Chemistry, Biology, or other relevant scientific discipline.

  • Familiarity with Industrial and Consumer regulations (OSHA / WHMIS, EPA / CEPA, CPSC / CCCR, and VOC.

  • Minimum of one to three years' experience in the chemical industry.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills with an ability to work effectively within a variety of cross functional teams.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and experience with SAP a plus
