Role Summary:

We are looking for a Client Services Manager who can help maintain business relationships with current clients. This role will help our clients to better understand the full potential of our products and act as liaison between the client and customer service. The successful candidate will also be responsible for improving customer support programs and enhancing customer satisfaction. The manager also directs and coordinates client services and office activities, supervises administrative, client services, and courier employees. This position will report to the Chief Marketing and Sales Officer (CSMO).

What you'll do:

  • Demonstrates proper and effective judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Has a continuous improvement mindset to provide new and innovative operational concepts.
  • Must possess a willingness to work as a team and take on additional ad-hoc duties as needed on a daily basis.
  • Manages day-to-day operations including assisting sales, fleet services, delivery services, pricing quotes and testing results.
  • Works and communicates effectively with clients, vendors, and coworkers at all levels of the organization.
  • A dedicated manager, motivator and team player with a collaboration mentality to encourage harmony amongst employees.
  • Consistently communicate with employees regarding work load, training, and progress against goals and projects. Establishes adjusts work procedures and schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Develop and mentor employees to encourage effective training and career growth.
  • Administer corporate human resource programs according to the employee handbook. Including employee recruitment and retention, compensation, training and development, equal employment opportunity, performance appraisal, and employment record documentation.
  • Good project management skills including follow-up on projects and completion on time and on schedule.
  • Verify and approve daily data entry, testing results and reporting including bi-weekly payroll.
  • Encourage and monitor work areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure workplace safety at all times by understanding and adhering to laboratory standing operation procedures including safety and emergency policies.

    What you have:

  • Minimum high school diploma and 3 to 5 years supervisory experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication with individuals and clients at all levels
  • Development and creation of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and nutritional software experience
  • General knowledge of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • General knowledge of Salesforce Customer Relationship Management Tool (CRM)
  • Detail oriented, independent yet team oriented, flexible, strong leadership qualities.
  • Broad knowledge of food science
  • Proven organizational agility and time management skills required for daily work balancing and project related work
  • Practical problem-solving skills
  • Positive outlook with the ability to adapt to a changing environment
