Description As the EDI EDIFECS Technical Lead you will provide lights-on support for B2B EDI Edifecs Healthcare application systems. You will analyze system failures, provide fixes, and coordinate with Network Teams, and others, to bring the systems back online.
Configure EDI solutions, as per the provided specifications.
Analyze and fix system failures.
Respond to issues assigned, conduct analysis, suggest / implement workarounds, communicate to stakeholders, and close issues to ensure support availability, as per agreed SLAs.
Create test plans, configure, test, transition and support activities.
Interface with other internal teams and key stakeholders, and participate in knowledge management activities to ensure high quality deliverables, as defined by guidelines, policies and norms.
Experience with Edifecs Healthcare suite, 8.3x, 9.x, and Healthcare Payer systems.
Able to configure the Edifecs tool, and understand systems integration, application, technical behavior, and business / technical requirements.
Experience with XEngine, XEngine Server, EAM, TM, SpecBuilder.
Understanding of EDI Healthcare transaction sets, e.g. 270/271, 834, 837 I/P/D, 835.
Knowledge of software development / implementation processes.
Able to explain technical solutions and fixes to stakeholders.
Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education. Candidate's that have completed a Master s degree program strongly preferred.
Experience working with State or Federal agencies.
Master s Degree.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
