Sales responsibility for new Jabil division that is delivering hardware and services to the high-growth Cloud Data-center marketplace. Sales role responsible to define, develop, and implement a sales strategy which contributes to the sector revenue and strategic direction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Generate sales from new customers
* Develop unique value proposition to the customer from a broad suite of hardware and service offerings
* High-energy required to prospect for new customers to develop a sales pipeline that will sustain the business for current fiscal year and the long term plan (LTP).
* Strong initiative and sense of ownership required.
* Necessary technical knowledge of data-center server technologies to be self-sufficient in customer dialog
* Ability to negotiate pricing and purchasing terms, and ability to CLOSE deals required.
* Interpret and communicate customer requirements, server trends, cloud data-center technology trends, and cost trends to enable development of services and operational capabilities to support new customers and business opportunities
* Provide regular updates to VP of sales and marketing and team on the execution of the strategy
* Prepares timely forecasts for the sales department
* Compare forward forecast results to historical actual results for trend assessment and analysis
* Develop RFQ analysis and present formal presentation to customer
* Ensure key financial measures are achieved within each account, including margin and ROIC targets
* Promote Jabil's other capabilities, footprint and services to new customers
Education & Experience Requirements
* Requires a bachelor's degree in Business; Master's Degree preferred
* At least 5 years of experience at similar level in the field
* Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate regarding common technology journals, financial reports, and legal documents
* Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
* Ability to travel as required - 25-50%
