RESPONSIBILITIES:
The VP Director of Analytics is responsible for developing data driven strategic recommendations pertinent to branding, content, social, digital, media, planning, acquisition and optimization. This role will require extensive knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytics techniques, with the end goal of providing comprehensive end-to-end view of marketing performance.. This is a practice lead role for Atlanta and the VP director will be responsible for end-to-end analytics delivery for clients as well as supporting new business growth.. The VP Director of Analytics is responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with key team members across the agency such as the strategy, technology, creative and account management teams. The VP Director of Analytics will be responsible for building a team and subsequently the growth and development of junior team members, who will report to him/him on a project and/or account level basis. This individual will report directly into the SVP/EVP of Performance.. In addition, this is a highly client facing role, with a strong expectation that this individual will also contribute heavily to new business development and the pitching process. The VP Director of Analytics understands the importance of storytelling and has experience using data to guide a strategic narrative.. Establish leadership on cutting-edge data science methodologies. Design, develop and deploy measurement frameworks and data architectures. Design and implement custom analysis on a project-by-project basis. Develop Business Intelligence presentations/charts for senior clients. Perform hands-on analysis to proactively provide in depth insights, trending, behaviors and relationships across all channels to help support the Client. Must be able to identify issues with the data and problem solve. Serve as project and support lead on multiple projects. Develop clear performance strategies/actionable next steps. Guide clients in development of long term data roadmaps covering audience analytics, multi-touch attribution and the use of ML/AI in enhancing marketing effectiveness. Strong business acumen, including the ability to collaborate with clients, partners and strategy teams to formulate business and marketing objectives, develop analytics approaches to meet those objectives and manage deployment. Clearly and concisely present to clients plans and performance results with the support of the functional specialists by reducing complexity to key drivers and opportunities. Strong knowledge of marketing analytics, methodologies and platforms.. Strong analytical foundation with expert hands on knowledge of advanced statistical techniques. Deep understanding of marketing technology stacks, including tag management systems, ad serving platforms, DMPs and ETL processes and systems integration. Intermediate to Expert Knowledge of a leading BI platforms such as Sisense, DOMO, MSFT Power BI. Ability to translate findings/results into clear, actionable and executable insights. Exceptional communication and presentation skills; strong business development skills a plus. Understanding of the development and role of taxonomies and tagging strategies in the development and deployment of performance driven marketing programs. Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer or a quantitative degree in another social science; Master's degree or an MBA is a definite plus.. 10-12+ years of experience in data analysis, media platforms, and/or marketing technology. Deep experience combining quantitative analytics and qualitative research methods. Expertise in model building and/or machine learning techniques.
