Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading international law firms, seeks to hire a highly qualified midlevel associate to join our capital markets and public companies practice of our corporate business and transactions practice group in New York or Princeton.
Morgan Lewis lawyers provide corporate, finance, and investment management counsel to a diverse clientele of Fortune 500 companies and public and privately held businesses of all sizes; major commercial banks and other financial services institutions; investment banks and other financial advisors; private equity, hedge fund and mutual fund firms; emerging technology and life sciences companies and venture capitalists; telecom and media companies; energy companies; and management groups.
We have a thorough knowledge and understanding of our clients' industries and business enterprise structures. Clients based in the United States and throughout the world rely on us to counsel them on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures and strategic alliances); private equity; finance (including transactional, institutional, and international finance); restructuring and bankruptcy; private and publicly traded investment funds; investment management; structured transactions; securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings); corporate governance and shareholder activism; emerging business and technology transactions; outsourcing and strategic commercial transactions; energy transactions; real estate; and tax matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience in securities offerings, securities regulation and corporate governance matters. Experience in handling SEC-registered (equity and debt), Rule 144A capital market and PIPE transactions for issuers and underwriters is important. A strong candidate would also have experience in SEC compliance, corporate governance and NYSE and Nasdaq matters. The candidate should possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization, writing and analytical skills.
