Role Summary: The main responsibility of the VMI analyst is to manage retailer inventory levels for assigned VMI account(s), by maintaining a balance of customer availability and lean inventory initiatives. Responsibilities include: Utilize Skylight/Algomus (VMI analytical tools) to meet established KPI?s and SLA?s Work with Sales and internal planners to ensure that customer planograms and assortments are accurate and managed effectively and efficiently Drive optimal replenishment for all product segments (NR Initial Ship, NR Replenishment, Promotional, Catalog) through analytics and parameter optimization Manage planogram and assortment change-outs and resets Participate in forecast consensus review meetings, and periodic accuracy review sessions Utilize Algomus and key performance indicators to identify strengths and opportunities Analyze inventory levels and proactively provide inventory sell-down strategies Participate in weekly account performance meetings to drive continual improvement Basic Qualifications: College degree or at least 2 years of experience in a Supply Chain/Retail Operations role Eligibility Requirements: Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA Desired Characteristics: Detail oriented, well organized, and possessing excellent follow-up skills Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as solid interpersonal skills Team player who works well in a fast paced environment At NBCUniversal, we believe in the talent of our people.
