The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and OSF Healthcare at St. Joseph in Bloomington are seeking an additional Neonatologist to join our community of caregivers. The position requires 3 years of residency and 3 years of neonatology fellowship. The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in neonatology; BC in pediatrics is desirable; and will hold or be eligible for an Illinois physician license. The incoming physician will provide care for eight 24-hour shift per month. The schedule offers tremendous flexibility and would also include an academic appointment and would rotate through our Level IV facilities a few times per year. OSF St. Joseph in Bloomington is a Level II nursery with roughly 650 deliveries/year. 1. Proven acute and ongoing consultative care to neonatal children with problems in the hospital and outpatient setting.
2. Comfort in the attending deliveries and in the stabilization of newborns.
3. Participate in collaborative research activities of the Division and Department.
Eligible for licensure in Illinois.
