JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible to manage a portfolio of strategic projects for the system, including the medical school, hospital, physician group practice, health system, and any affiliated hospital and/or physician entities. Provides regional planning and relationship development; facilitates the development of market analyses coinciding with strategic, financial and business plans and identifies strategic issues and opportunities; recommends strategies for the implementation of selected projects identified in the strategic planning process; and identifies the information needs of the Planning function.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Healthcare Management with 7+ years' experience in Strategic Planning, Marketing, Data Analysis or Information Management.
Analytical and Project Management experience.
Previous management or supervisory experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong communication skills, analytical skills and understanding of the academic and community health environment.
Strong knowledge of software packages for analytics and data visualization including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Tableau, and knowledge of Advisory Board analytic products and databases.
Ability to maintain knowledge and monitor trends in the healthcare industry, strategic and business planning techniques and best practices, and pertinent legal and regulatory requirements.
Practical knowledge of planning and business development techniques, market research and analysis, and management and supervisory techniques.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Ability to adapt and respond to unexpected changes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree
Health planning or hospital experience
