Title: Abatement Team LeadLocation: Atlanta, GA and surrounding countiesPOSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for project management and execution of demolition and removal of building materials, field service, mold remediation and asbestos abatement, in accordance with established company policies and procedures.* Guaranteed 40 hours* 4 -10 hour days, 3 day weekends* Work indoors majority of time* Transportation provided* Meals and Hotels covered* Great Pay and BenefitsESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Execution of field work encompassed in asbestos abatement and mold remediation projects while under direct or indirect supervision Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in removing asbestos from ceilings, walls, floors, and other structures. Understand and enforces project's detailed scope-of-work to optimize strict compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and corporate policies and procedures. Reviews job specifications and inspects work site to evaluate removal project. Estimates length of time, number of workers, and equipment and supplies required to accomplish project. Instructs new workers in safety and removal procedures. Assigns and supervises workers in specific tasks, such as setup of equipment and removal and clean-up of asbestos Monitors and inspects quality of work during project. Examines workers' equipment, such as respirator systems, air evacuation and filtration systems, and air quality testing devices, to ensure that they meet company and government safety standards.
