The Chief Marketing Officer serves as a core member of the College's leadership team as well as several executive steering committees for college-wide initiatives. The Chief Marketing Officer leads marketing, brand and product strategy to drive program and portfolio performance and ensure marketing strategy and execution is effective and aligned. This role is primarily accountable for strategic portfolio health, and overall inquiry performance. The person in this role also oversees and directs the relationship with a designated full-service marketing agency directly responsible for revenue creation and all marketing strategy and marketing services execution.. Responsibilities:. Manages portfolio to keep offerings fresh, relevant, and career-focused, to fit with and further advance Rasmussen College's market position.. Leads each new program (product) development throughout its lifecycle within the college's portfolio. This includes owning and directing a team through ideation concept, design, development and delivery ensuring that success is measured via demonstrated enrolment growth.. Responsible for primary agency relationship with full-service marketing agency.. Oversees marketing and brand strategy (in close partnership with leaders from full-service agency) to ensure marketing direction and execution stays aligned with overarching College strategies as well as program/portfolio priorities.. Partners with cross-functional leadership in a matrixed environment to ensure strong execution and timeline management that delivers results for the College. Collaborate effectively with academic leadership to ensure that new an innovative offerings are consistently brought to market. Leads and manages team including, but not limited to, product management directors, marketing director, market research manager, and project manager.. Reporting Relationships:. The Chief Marketing Officer reports to the Chief Enrollment Management Officer (COO equivalent).. Requirements:. MBA or master's degree in related field required. At least 10 years of progressively increasing management/leadership experience with brand, product, marketing strategy and management including P&L accountability.. CPG experience and/or Education experience preferred. Skills required: ability to dig deep and look broad; ability to synthesize insights from data and information and see patterns to shape strategy; leadership skills; excellent communication skills and facility with navigating a highly matrixed organization; critical thinking and creative problem solving..
