ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions is seeking a Campus Electronic Access Control Manager for the university, college and campus apartment market. Regional territory coverage will include : PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA, WV
Campus Electronic Access Control Manager position is responsible for driving end user level demand for ASSA ABLOY IP based product lines by working through enterprise security software platform companies. Primary activities include relationship development with campus security related personnel such as campus IT, housing and one card departments. The Campus EAC Manager is also responsible for consulting with third party software platforms and the local certified integrators leveraging existing channel relationships.
The Campus EAC Manager reports to the Director of Sales, Campus EAC, Door Security Solutions (DSS). In addition, the Campus EAC manager will team with other DSS resources (specification consultants, EM specialists. end-user specialists etc.) and other vertical market team members as required to drive growth in the university, college and community markets.
The Regional EAC Campus Manager has four primary responsibilities:
Increase university electronic access control sales revenue 12%-15% annually within assigned region by driving demand at the end user level and then bringing in the channel.
Manage and take responsibility for sales revenue by selling ASSA ABLOY EAC products and solutions by calling upon Housing, Security, IT and Campus Card office Directors inthe University Segment.
Work with our Vertical Market team to target, strategize and execute sales plans and process with end users for the Higher Education Vertical market. This includes our Vertical Market Specialists reaching out to campus rep when there is an opportunity to sell or up-sell any EM/EAC solutions.
Serve as the point person for all education, training and pricing for PERSONA Products. This includes Public,Private Housing, Campus Residence Hall, Academic Buildings, and Sports related venues.
This is a home office based position located in the USA. To be considered you should fulfill the follow criteria and must live in close proximity to a large metropolitan market and major airport based on the territory described above.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of sales experience with access control, software or IT related systems.
Desire and ability to learn and understand software driven locks and credentials.
High comfort level with software from a sales perspective.
Experience working cross-functionally in an organization during a long sales cycle.
Experience developing and maintaining relationships with partner Transaction and Housing Companies (i.e., Blackboard, Cbord, Atrium, Adirondack Solutions, etc
Experience conducting presentations and training to IT director level prospects.
Proven history of strong follow-up habits throughout the entire sales cycle.
Proven history of strong relationship building and verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness and ability to travel for up to 75% of work time.
