Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Interpret product shop drawings and/or customer direct orders

Assist in areas of hardware compatibility with each product

Translate order language so orders will flow through production smooth and accurately

Handle technical inquiries

Communicate with customers and internal personal on discrepancies and/or application conflicts

Interpret hardware templates, review orders and prepare detailed drawings for manufacturing requirements

Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees

Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

Meet established productivity and quality goals

Maintain lead-time goals

Complete Correspondence Courses and other continuous learning activities as needed and assigned, including the development of product and systems knowledge.

Assume and expand responsibilities, as needed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet expectations of each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required.

Education:

High School Diploma/GED required. BA in Business Management, technical degree or equivalency preferred.

Experience:

A minimum five years estimating experience in the hollow metal door openings industry and direct customer and contractor contact desired.

Ability to read, interpret and manage architectural plans, specifications and hardware schedules.

Excellent computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft, and AutoCAD software preferred. Experience with TrackPoint, OrderPro or comparable a plus

Other Qualifications:

Basic Geometry and Algebra math skills are necessary

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and organizational skills. ?Ability to work effectively and positively in a team environment

Effective communication skills via email and phone conversations

This role requires someone who is self-motivated, self-regulating and able to meet job expectations with minimal supervision
