The Senior Enablement Consultant will work with various global groups and partners to provide a wide range of expertise on digital marketing approach, strategy and solutions. As a digital marketing solutions expert, you will provide a variety of enablement activities with our global partners focusing on the next evolution of SAS marketing solutions and digital transformation for customers. This role requires deep business acumen and comfort communicating technical and complicated solutions while helping to understand different paths in solving business objectives. As a trusted advisor, work directly with partner groups and key customers to understand, architect, position, teach, and advise on the implementation, integration aspects and business architecture in event driven personalization and digital marketing context-based projects. Uses broad marketing solution area expertise to advise and craft customer blueprints and capabilities roadmaps. The role will include (not limited to) development of enablement materials, organizing and presenting via workshops, advisory and consulting services, solution development, and implementation support. Requires a senior experienced practitioner with a deep understanding of Customer Intelligence, digital marketing solutions and prior experience providing practical guidance for designing and implementing customer journey marketing programs. Deep experience in the execution of marketing solutions, programs, digital channel personalization, campaign management, event driven digital customer journeys and analytical based marketing effectiveness to shape customer understanding of solution breadth. Uses practical delivery experience in marketing automation and execution via digital channels to provide best practices and recommendations. Requires leveraging prior experience coupled with broad exposure to projects where digital marketing platforms have been a critical piece of solving a broader real-time marketing business challenge. Requires an experienced practitioner with a solid understanding of digital journeys, customer analytics, decision scenarios and related industry solutions. Leverage cross industry projects exposure where decisioning, digital channel solutions and end marketing processes have been a critical piece of solving a broader real-time digital campaign business challenge. Shapes solution modernization efforts specific to SAS Customer Intelligence and Decision solutions, including hybrid and open platform architectures. Form partner perspectives, options and awareness of SAS solutions and integration capabilities through deep understanding of related marketing technologies and practical experience with customer experience journey design (via various channels). This role may assist in defining field driven solutions to enhance overall solution capabilities and effectiveness including presenting to various internal, industry and customer groups.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Leverages expert knowledge and project experience to create, maintain and update enablement materials library to facilitate partner enablement in all phases of solution evaluation - including scoping, project structures, pre-sales positioning and delivery approach
  • Represent partners and customers in evaluating and exploring digital marketing and related solutions including developing relationships with Product Management and R&D
  • Present Customer Intelligence focused enablement courses and subject matter as needed
  • Present enablement courses and subject matter as needed
  • Organization and participation of regional enablement events for partners to include, but not limited to, value propositions of solutions, use cases and market trends
  • Represent global CI enablement in workgroups, comminutes of practice and other global or regional meetings
  • Provides functional leadership for SAS marketing solutions (360 Engage, Campaign Management) solutions scoping, positioning and customer opportunity assessment
  • Work with Regional CI representatives, leaders to shape positioning of capabilities, implications and solution architecture
  • Provide partner teams domain/industry/solution expertise to lead pre-sales activities, as required
  • Builds a trusted relationship with key partners to provide practical and theoretical guidance in the business value of proposed solution and set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Strategizes with relevant teams on objectives for partner delivery organization and understand how this activity relates to overall delivery and sales plan
  • Designing and implementing online analytics and digital marketing solutions based on customer requirements
  • Assists in the design of real-time marketing solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Identify client business objectives and define client business processes and campaigns
  • Building and testing SAS 360 and Decision Manager objects for deployment at customer sites
  • Reviewing and editing documentation for consulting projects, global enablement activities, other divisions as needed
  • Assisting in scoping and defining work efforts, resource plans, and estimating cost on phases/projects
  • Participating in project requirements gathering
  • Preparing and presenting materials for site visits, project work, and training services.
  • Contributing to service delivery effectiveness through the consistent application of Best Practices

  • Use deep knowledge of several SAS solutions in pre-sales activities and/or implementation/ design process

  • Liaise with sales, pre-sales, technical support and product management to determine best action to implement solutions in customer environments

  • Essential Requirements:

  • Master s or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or quantitative field; with
  • Adept in building trusted adviser relationships, problem solving and collaboration in a marketing and decisioning context
  • Strategy and business consulting expertise in a marketing domain
  • Experience leading campaign management projects and marketing campaign design via digital and other execution channels
  • Knowledge and experience delivering complex large-scale customer intelligence and digital marketing solutions
  • Excellent facilitation and communications skills
  • Exceptional in translating business problems to technical solutions and comfortable communicating to a wide range of audiences
  • Expert level knowledge and experience delivering complex solutions
  • Experience scoping, defining and delivering multi-faceted multiphase cross functional projects
  • Experience leading Marketing Automation engagements with demonstrated expertise in Marketing Automation and Campaign Management solution design.
  • Experience with Campaign Management processes
  • Exposure to real time decisioning solutions coupled with broad exposure to projects where marketing solutions have been a critical piece of solving a broader real-time decision business challenge
  • Excellent experience leveraging and defining customer information and marketing data marts as part of overall strategy and design
  • Experience defining marketing effectiveness and attribution analysis programs
  • Understanding of web analytics and experience personalization software or packages including any of the following: Adobe Marketing and Commerce Suite (Adobe Campaign, Personalization, Audience Profiles, etc) , Omniture (Adobe), IBM Digital Marketing, Google Analytics, Celebrus, Monetate or similar.
  • 10+ years of experience with 8+ years of experience in digital or Customer Relationship marketing experience
  • Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Direct marketing domain knowledge, including marketing processes and data requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate with users with various technical backgrounds
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Experience with Marketing Solutions and processes and campaign management software, such as SAS Marketing Automation and any of the following: Salesforce, Aprimo, Pega Systems, ePiphany, Unica or similar.
  • Experience in technology areas such as application development, client/server, database management systems, data warehousing, web services development or web enablement
  • Previous consulting experience or public speaking experience such as presenting papers or classroom teaching
  • International and Domestic Travel as business requirements dictate
  • Preferred:

  • Experience with SAS Customer Intelligence 360, external APIs
  • Familiarity with Software-as-a-Service methodologies and service delivery paradigms.
  • Exposure to digital marketing communication technologies and architectures, including exposure to email service providers like SilverPOP, ExactTarget, or other ESP s.
  • Experience in technology areas such as database management systems, data warehousing, web services development or web enablement
  • Specific industry-related experience may be considered in combination with the above
  • Experience with real-time marketing business requirements, including in-session targeted marketing via web site, call center, and retail channels
  • Implementation experience with other real time solutions such as Oracle Real Time Decisions; FICO Blaze Advisor; Unica Interact/IBM eMessage; Aprimo Real Time Interaction Manager; Infor CRM Enterprise Interaction Advisor; SAP Real Time Offer Management; IBM Analytical/Operational Decision Manger
  • Experience working with SAS strategic partners
  • Possesses real-world digital marketing practitioner experience and domain knowledge
  • HTML programming and Web Architectures
