You re a PR pro, master collaborator, communications strategist and storyteller who finds creative ways to increase buzz and build company perception by taking advantage of relevant moments. And you have a track record to prove it.

This position supports corporate and brand objectives through the conception, creation, and management of integrated communications initiatives, overseeing social media, media relations, and internal storytelling departments. Partnering with teams across the Communications and Creative division, you will build buzz across platforms and working with internal and external content creators, media partners, and creative agencies to develop strategies and bring them to life.

The role is part big picture strategy, part tactical. You ll have a strong understanding of and interest in our customer's mindset, how analytics is shaping culture and the world today, and a strong working knowledge of the data and technology space. You re able to conceptualize the best way to reach key stakeholders and tap into the right moments along their customer journey. Your integrated communications campaigns will be collaborative, and resonate, energize, engage and inform external audiences and employees.

The person in this role must be fluent in social media best practices, content creation methods, press engagement and buzz building. He/she must have practiced internal communications and is collaborative, organized and agile.

This position has a broad functional responsibility and possesses the ability to align cross-organizational teams, as well as associate and connect data points to one another.

  • Expert at integrating the right parties against the right idea a master web builder bringing everyone and everything around a central idea to make it bigger.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills.
  • Deep rolodex of press contacts across mainstream and multiple industries, and a knowledge of how to storytell to both mainstream and B2B audiences.
  • Digital media savvy.
  • Experiential event experience a plus.
  • A history and knowledge and relationships from working in the technology space, specifically B2B and preferably B2C as well.
  • Ability to measure campaigns to demonstrate effect ROI.
  • Disruptor, inspirer, leader.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Leading the charge on tightly integrated PR, social, influencer strategies and campaigns that drive buzz and engagement.
  • Spearhead storytelling strategies that results in pitching to appropriate media outlets as well as the management of the external PR agencies efforts.
  • Work with team to deliver media placements across various channels, including traditional, online, broadcast media, and influencers, and leverage existing relationships with media and develop new relationships.
  • Contribute to the development of press and marketing and overall corp communication and creative strategies.
  • Leads the strategic direction of organic social initiatives, demonstrating how social can drive business results with understanding of media and platform-specific KPIs.
  • Works with comms-focused agencies and keeps cross-functional teams informed.
  • Recommends content execution and programming to support comms strategy.
  • Helps create and execute influencer and advocacy strategies across social media and the press.
  • Interfaces with senior leadership and regularly presents strategies, reporting, and new ideas.
  • Integrates tightly with others on Communications and Creative and Worldwide Marketing teams to produce best-in-class integrated communications initiatives, strategies and output.
  • Leads team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.
