Job Description: The Opportunity
SEL seeks a Process Improvement Manager with 10 years of experience in a quality field and demonstrated success leading process improvement projects. As the Process Improvement Manager for the customer service, business, and quality teams, lead or coach use of quality and world class manufacturing tools to continually improve quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction results. The Process Improvement Manager will work closely with the Senior Quality System Manager to reduce lead time and improve quality of SEL response to customer feedback. Process Improvement Manager
Responsibilities:
Lead, facilitate and manage company-wide problem solving and process improvement initiatives and projects that support key strategic objectives using disciplined problem solving techniques.
Drive process and quality improvements resulting in cost reductions and efficiency gains.
Support division leaders in understanding problems, causes and solutions.
Define and communicate value proposition to champion data driven decisions.
Work with cross divisional leaders to define, prioritize, and acquire resources and assistance.
Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Understand. Create. Simplify.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
B.A. degree in Business, Information Systems or equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years or equivalent experience in a quality field
Strong leadership, facilitation and communication skills
Demonstrated success in leading process improvement projects
Project management and problem solving skills
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications:
Detailed knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamix AX preferred)
ASQ Certified Quality Manager
ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
