Jobs Summary: In this role you will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation to contracting, within the assigned Southwest region. Developing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and implementing business/marketing plans to increase market share are at the core of this position.Additionally, you will be working with the sales and support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue growth, profitability, and long-term account goals. Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and qualify a database of qualified leads using SGSs CRM system.
Sell and make recommendations to prospects and clients on the various solutions that SGS offers against their business needs.
Quoting in compliance with Certification and Accreditation Body requirements and/or product sector requirements.
Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the gain of market share from competitors.
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, appointments/meetings, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities within assigned territory and/or product sector.
Gather and submit detailed business specification information for pricing proposals.
Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify and address prospects business problems, and the effects of the problems.
Education and Required Skills:
College degree preferred - areas of concentration in marketing or business
Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior sales position
Previous experience as a sales person in the accreditation field/ISO sector a highly desirable asset
Experience at selling solutions and/or service type products within a B2B environment at a high level within organizations
Ability to travel as job requires (e.g., regional, national, short notice, planned, etc.)
Fluent in English (i.e., written & oral), Bilingual in Spanish an asset but not required.
Technical selling skills & product knowledge in sector areas (e.g., Quality, Environmental, etc.).
