To ensuresuccessful collaboration with these partners, Siemens Healthineers has a teamof onsite scientists that work very closely with leaders in the medical fieldon the development and testing of new solutions. **Job Description:** As a remote employeein the Digital Health (DH) Research Collaborations Group, manage the researchcollaborations relationships with a group of research collaborators in the EastCoast Region. **Position Overview** The Siemens DH Collaborations team inthe US is a multidisciplinary group of highly motivated scientists, engineers, and advancedapplication specialists based at various locations across the country, and working closely with ourresearch partners at Universities and academic hospitals. We are seeking a highly motivated andexperienced individual to join our team to help maximize the clinical and business impact of ourresearch work. The position will report to the Head DH Collaborations for North America. Theindividual will be responsible for: + Defining, implementing and driving the regional researchcollaborations strategy and collaborating with internal and externalpartners to define innovative andclinically relevant digital solutions from prototype to a commercially available product. + The individual isexpected to work closely with functional teams in design,implementation, and execution ofresearch projects in DH in collaboration with our academic andclinical partners. + Furthermore, the individual will act asa liaison between Siemens' research collaborators and Siemens' internal groupsworldwide, including, but not limited to R&D, product definition anddevelopment teams, sales and and marketing. + Strong expertise in clinicalapplications, information technology and understanding of clinical value chainsis required. + Strong attention to detail, outstanding communications skills,ability to create new and innovative solutions,establish and maintain relationships with a variety of people in different roles / levels and physicallocations are critical. + An outstanding track record of peer reviewedpublications in digital health or imaging [ZM(DD1] at is highly desired. **Responsibilities** Duties will include but are not limitedto the following areas: + Collaboration Management Define, implement and drive the regional researchcollaborations strategy with executive leadership teams + Ensure that both parties understand the research andinnovation vision of one another + Collaborate with internal and external partners to defineinnovative and clinically relevant digital health solutions, like clinicaldecision support or patient management or artificial intelligence solutions,from prototype to a commercially available product + Support business development and sales to a successfulmarket introduction + Work closely with functional teams in design,implementation, and execution of research projects in collaboration with ouracademic and clinical partners + Adhere to Siemens' collaborations policies, and takeownership of the processes for collaboration management with partners in yourregion, e.g. contract negotiation and financial reporting of a research project + Work closely with your academic partners and internationalfunctional teams to drive digital health research and translate this knowledgeinto digital health products + Oversee and monitor the development of novel, clinicallyrelevant prototypes onsite at one or more research partners in compliance withhighest source code quality + Work closely with international functional teams andresearch partners to define projects of mutual interest that are aligned withthe global DH roadmap. + Represent Siemens at national conferences in the field ofdigital health Product Management + Oversee product integration of innovative solutions intoclinical data systems or workflows according to quality standards for medicaldevices and medical device data systems + Define implementation of improvements of currently existingproduct features. + Monitor maintenance and improvements of existing code base,bug fixing, testing. + Collaborate on content for articles for Siemens publicationstogether with internal and external collaborators + Support educational meetings, tradeshows, and site visits. + Answer questions from Sales and Marketing related to areasof the team's responsibility. + Demonstrate strong knowledge of organization's businesspractices, issues faced, and contribute to problem resolution of those issues. **Required Knowledge/Skills, Education,and Experience** + 5 years' experience in a customer facing, leadershipposition. + Graduate degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics,Healthcare Management or equivalent. + Experience in healthcare IT industry + Experience in clinical workflows, systems, applications(imaging, PACS, RIS, Reporting) and data interfaces, e.g. DICOM, HL7 or FHIR. + Experience in software architecture of medical devicesincluding regulatory and data security requirements helpful, e.g. productdevelopment cycles and requirements engineering + knowledge of current trends in digital health including theuse of AI, ML and big data techniques in new research initiatives + Experience in research contracting including projectdefinition, e.g. funding analysis and grant structure + Experience in international go-to-market of healthinformation systems and/or imaging systems + Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in adynamic environment internal and external partners + Outstanding writing, presentation, and communication skills. + Excellent, inter-personal and teaching skills and aproactive can-do attitude. + Ability to think strategically + Ability to work independently and prioritize work. + Ability to multi-task and follow through + Ability to act as advocate for different internal andexternal stakeholders. + Detail-oriented and organized. + Excellent skills in
