SUMMARY:. The Director of Operations will be responsible for management and operation of all aspects of a FAA / EASA certified aircraft repair station that works in the general aviation / corporate aviation arena, both national and international customers. Position requires technical knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and familiarity of related FAA Regulations. Position will include the title of Accountable Manager for both FAA and EASA operational accountability of the Certified Repair Station Activities.. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Daily Duties:. Communication - email, telephone, and direct contact with employees and customers. Prioritize business workload for 50 personnel through direct Managers. Weekly:. Process payroll - review employee production reports to verify hours, correct / discuss disparities about billable time. Monthly:. Review monthly financial statements and submit approved reports to SNC Corporate. Update Financial Management Review (FMR) for future sales and actual's for submittal to SNC Corporate. Complete employee Annual performance reviews:Annual:. Create future fiscal year forecast Financial Management Plan (FMP) for SNC Corporate approval. Review FMR to FMP performance for Management Bonus pool distribution. As Required:. Review, update, and approve customer invoices for work performed. Complete aircraft repair and modification estimates and contracts for customers - repairs, modifications, maintenance packages. Travel to project locations for surveys - repairs or modifications. Human Resources - Hiring, discipline, termination. FAA contact - inspections, queries. EDUCATION, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:. Bachelor Degree or higher in either aviation or business management required.. 15+ years of experience required.. Experience in FAA Part 145 Certified Repair Station operations - Inspector position preferred. Technical background for Chief Inspector - A&P license, engineer, or 15+ years field experience. Broad knowledge of aircraft and related operations - Licensed pilot preferred. Sales experience - must have prior exposure working with customers. Experience with all types of legal contracts including familiarity with ITAR requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with computer and related Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.. IMPORTANT NOTICE:.
