Territory Sales Manager & Team Leader

Overview
Responsible for sales growth and profitability of territory sales channels by developing and implementing strategies to maximize market share. Direct and lead territory sales team by holding team members accountable for sales and performance metrics by providing leadership, counseling and coaching support to direct reports.
Responsibilities
* Oversee associates' sales and marketing activities to drive sales and profitability and leveraging consultative management strategies to support direct reports' individual sale metrics.
* Implement and manage sales, marketing and operational strategies on an ongoing basis.
* Train, motivate, lead and direct team members to maximize performance and achieve established sales goals and align team with overall business objectives.
* Build solid relationships with sales team, customers and management.
* Analyze territory accounts, contracts and develop strategies for growth and profitability.
* Work as a team to develop new business and engage new customers.
* Conduct negotiations in an ethical manner working to establish advantageous terms for pricing and terms and conditions, consistent with Snap-on's core values.
* Penetrate existing accounts to create new business within current customer base and expand market share.
* Manage budget and inventory for department.
* Influence team members to achieve goals.
* Conduct business with professionalism through solving problems, using good judgement and following through on commitments.
* Complete presentations and product demonstrations on an ongoing and regular basis.
* Ensure completion of corporate compliance initiatives.
* Complete other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred or equivalent work experience required.
* Seven-ten years of sales experience within tool manufacturing or similar industry.
* A proven record of accomplishment of solid increases in outside sales and customer growth required.
* Strong sales strategizing abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to influence and motivate others.
* Dedicated team player.
* Demonstrated personal integrity.
* Computer skills, including proficiencies in Word, Power Point and extensive Excel.
* Impeccable personal presentation skills.
* Senior management-level sales expertise.
* Valid driver's license with excellent driving record.
