We are currently seeking a **Food Service Manager** **(I)** for the **Masonic Care Community of Utica, New York** . This is a 400 Resident Premiere Retirement Community with senior living services including independent living, home care, adult residential care, rehabilitation and long term care. The Food Operations Manager is responsible for resident meals in the Health Pavilion. This position oversees 23 household kitchens and a team of Residential Aides. Responsibilities include: working hand in hand with Nursing, Housekeeping and Nutrition to assure Resident Aides are meeting standards of service and sanitation. Human Resource management of Resident Aides including : interviews, hiring recommendation, training, schedules and performance evaluations. Provides supervision for food services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the company. Implements business practices in order to uphold company mission, values and commitments made in the Sodexo client contractual agreement.
