**About Transmission and Distribution**

Southern California Edison's (SCE's) Transmission and Distribution Organizational Unit (T & D) is responsible for planning, engineering, constructing, operating, and maintaining transmission and distribution facilities throughout the 50,000-square-mile territory. T&D is the steward of roughly $19 billion in assets that safely and reliably deliver electricity to 15 million residents via SCE's 5 million customer accounts.

**Position Overview**

Grid Technologies & Modernization (GTM) is the innovation team in Southern California Edison's (SCE's) Transmission and Distribution Organization (T&D). We are looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced work environment and wants to be part of the technical team that is innovating to enable SCE's integrated blueprint for California to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants. Realizing the blueprint will reduce the threat of climate change and improve public health related to air quality. This is an opportunity to be part of that change. The successful candidate will provide support to two Principal Managers and interact daily with management, staff, and external contacts. This position provides timely, efficient, and high quality administrative assistance to Grid Technology & Modernization (GTM) employees and leadership.

**Typical Responsibilities** :

+ Efficiently monitor, maintain, and manage leadership calendars preventing scheduling conflicts and inappropriate use of leadership time and coordinate and schedule meetings/conference calls/events/tours.

+ Prepare agendas, takes notes, and prepare minutes as requested.

+ Set up, support design, and manage access to Grid Technologies & Modernization (GTM) SharePoint and internal websites to support collaboration.

+ Act as the Fenwick facilities' representation for Information Governance (IG) including participating in IG meetings, cascading requirements, and coordinating our compliance with IG requirements.

+ Complete/submit expense reports for managers.

+ Maintain effective level of knowledge of all relevant processes, resources, and services available within and outside the department to support staff and resolve issues. (e.g., IT & Facilities requests, Onboarding, etc.)

+ Make travel arrangements as needed and clearly communicate travel plans to requestor and follow-up timely to resolve issues.

+ Performing other responsibilities and duties as needed.


**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Three or more years of experience performing advanced administrative and clerical functions including coordinating meetings, conference calls, and managing calendars using Microsoft Outlook or an equivalent application.

+ Three or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel performing advanced functions such as VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, charts, and graphing.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to create and edit documents and presentations.

**Desired Qualifications**

+ Associates Degree.

+ Two or more years of experience using SharePoint to manage collaboration and support organized recordkeeping.

+ Two or more years of experience using SAP or similar applications to track the progress of projects, gather information, analyze & compile data, and create & edit reports.

+ Researching, coordinating, and finalizing moderately complex assignments and checking the accuracy of information/data with attention to detail.

+ Working in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, taking direction from multiple staff with minimal supervision.

+ Processing, submitting, and tracking supply orders and repair/maintenance orders.

+ Strong oral and written communication skills, including preparing written material with proper sentence structure, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

+ Working well under time constraints with ability to self-manage priorities while maintaining attention to detail and producing high-quality work with minimal supervision.

+ Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, and collaborate effectively with clients, peers, management, and other work units via, email, phone, Skype, and in person.
