As AXA Equitable continues its journey to becoming a standalone US public company, we are seeking actuaries to support this exciting and challenging journey, and who will thrive in a fast-changing environment involving one of the most complex product portfolios in the industry. The Actuarial organization within AXA Equitable has developed a multi-year roadmap, including strengthening the core processes of a standalone company, implementing new regulatory and accounting requirements, and improving our processes and efficiency through greater automation, enabling greater focus on analysis. We are looking to hire talented project or process managers to support the Actuarial functional areas to optimize their utilization of resources and stakeholder satisfaction by leading resource planning, prioritization, and project and process coordination and communication. Responsibilities will include: Leads the delivery of departmental projects and processes Conducts research and analysis to build business cases (including quantifying cost and benefits, identifying risks and mitigation strategies) and develops formal recommendations for presentation to management Works with cross? department stakeholders to identify and propose solutions to business issues and lays out plans to implement those solutions Develops detailed project schedules and gains buy?in from stakeholders Develops status updates for management May lead discrete work streams within a project Leads efforts to develop new or revised processes/procedures for Actuarial QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of project coordination/planning experience Broad understanding of project planning & execution methodologies Ability to facilitate meetings and communicate results to project team and management Ability to present to a group of peers and immediate management and play a supporting role on presentation to higher levels of management Ability to foster working relationships within the team and across business areas Results-oriented and motivated to take ownership of projects Strong verbal and written communication skills Capacity and eagerness to challenge and influence in a highly collaborative way A We have been providing stability and reliability to our clients since 1859 to help them live their lives with confidence, to give them peace of mind, and enable them to realize their dreams for their loved ones and their legacy.As an employer AXA is committed to creating an environment where everyone feels completely comfortable bringing their true selves to work every day.
