What you will be doing

We are looking for an experienced support level role. This person must use in-depth knowledge of FIS business processes and regulatory requirements, when working to identify opportunities for customer service improvements, process and/or procedure enhancements or other types of improvements. Our new Compliance Analyst will frequently handle situations which require extensive analysis or research and advanced problem-solving skills. They provide recommendations to managers and feedback directly to staff. This person works under general supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. Our candidate will typically require a minimum of six years of experience in a call center or customer service-related position in a service industry.

  • Monitors and communicates regulatory changes that impact FIS products, services and business activities

  • Conducts compliance assessments and provides direction on any deficiencies detected by those assessments

  • Interfaces with legal counsel and federal, state and local agencies, as needed to address regulatory or compliance matters

  • Prepares and approves internal and customer communications covering compliance issues

  • Tracks and validates product compliance deficiencies to completion

  • Monitors line of business compliance activities to verify that regulatory compliance deadlines and requirements are met

  • Meets with business unit compliance officers on a regular basis for status updates on compliance concerns

  • What you bring

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination or education, training or work experience is preferable.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of at least one substantive area of compliance, such as banking regulations, anti-money laundering, or anti-corruption.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form with the ability to communicate ideas in a clear, concise and professional manner

  • Exceptional analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and complete work within tight time limitations

  • Ability to provide information to a variety of audiences and deal effectively with confidential issues that are sensitive in nature

  • Ability to share information with the awareness of its effect on others
