Perform the end-to-end calculation and initial analysis of monthly and quarterly submission of product information, pricing information and other pertinent data to Federal agencies, including calculating and reporting the quarterly Best Price, monthly and quarterly Average Manufacturers Price (AMP), quarterly Average Sale Price (ASP) and quarterly Public Health Service (PHS). Coordinate with Commercial Contracts group, Legal, and Internal Audit Departments to ensure compliance with the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003, the Deficit Reduction Act of 2007, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act and the FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act. Responsibilities (50%) Government Pricing Candidate will obtain all relevant information and calculate various government prices including, Monthly AMP Quarterly AMP Quarterly BP Quarterly ASP Quarterly PHS Communicate pricing results to various government agencies and internal departments. Submit data as required by statute or contract. Investigate and resolve issues on CMS exception reports. Reading, interpretation and application of CMS releases relating to pricing calculations. Maintain and update Work Process Documents (WPD). Comply with SOX requirements and implementation of any changes in legislation or methodology. (20%) System Support & Maintenance Perform manual file uploads into Model N Government Pricing (GP) application. Work with Manager/Sr. Analyst for smooth operation of Model N Government Pricing (GP) system. (15%) Department Analytics and Forecasting Ad hoc analyses and trend analyses for monthly and quarterly calculations. Analyze and document financial and other supporting data related to government contracts, AMP/BP/ASP pricing and Medicaid rebates. (10%) Government & Commercial Contract Support Partner with Commercial Contracts departments to understand current contracting activity. Be knowledgeable of price protection, bundling, stocking discounts, etc., to understand potential impact on AMP, BP, ASP, PHS and unit rebate amounts used in state claims in accordance with CMS and Federal legislation. (5%) Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor s Degree and minimum 3 years relevant work experience or 5 years relevant work experience. Experience in the following areas a plus: System integration AMP calculations BP determination NFAMP calculation ASP calculation PHS Pricing Class of Trade Schema SPAP eligibility checks PHS eligibility checks. Experience with Model N or Revitas GP, Government Rebate, Commercial Rebate and/or other government/commercial contract, discount and rebate management systems. Experience with SAP and SQL a plus. Key Skills Revitas/Model N Rebating systems (Medicaid and Commercial); Government Pricing systems; Microsoft Access; Microsoft Excel; SAP. Individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the organization. Individual must possess a high level of skill and have a high level of comfort viewing and manipulating large data sets.
